Karen Hamilton-McNutt, RRT, Celebrates 30 Years With Family 1st Medical!
Some employees become an important part of a company’s story, and Karen Hamilton-McNutt is one of them. Throughout her career with Family 1st, her professionalism, compassion and knowledge have earned the trust of her coworkers and clients. Her willingness to help others has also made her a familiar and respected member of the team.
Karen joined Family 1st in 1996 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and now also serves as the company’s Medical Services Manager. Based in the New Minas office, she often travels to other Family 1st locations to support staff and clients. This year, she is celebrating an incredible 30 years with the company.
“When I joined Family 1st, I never imagined I would still be here three decades later,” she says. “Family 1st has become much more than a workplace for me, it’s a big part of my life. I’m proud of how much the company has grown over the years, and I’m grateful to have been part of that journey.”
One of the things Karen values most about Family 1st is its commitment to helping people access the medical equipment and services they need to live well and remain active.
“Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the opportunity to continue learning, take on new challenges and work with people who truly care about what they do,” she says. “It’s rewarding to be part of a company that works hard to do what is best for its clients, employees and communities,” she concludes.
